Long on atmosphere and with a great score by Bob Dylan, this one is highly watchable. No clue how accurate it is, but they cast this with all the character actors. I can't say that I ever really warmed to Kris Kristofferson though, and there are some pacing issues--that may have to do with the version I watched (the anniversary one), but it's a good neo-western.
