Bava Beauty
Review of Five Dolls for an August Moon (1970) by nezzkobdamned: 👍 7.3/10
I think this is the most quintessentially Late 60s/Early 70s film I've ever seen.
A funky jazz soundtrack, a gorgeous island retreat, soft-focus camerawork, titillation, murder, and melodrama. Five Dolls for an August Moon lays the groundwork for Bava's Bay of Blood in a more stylish, but less coherent manner.
