Simply Fun Fluff

Review of A Simple Favor (2018) by nezzkobdamned: 👍 7.6/10

A bit messy, but the bravado and glee with which Feig plunges headfirst into overdramatic waters is admirable, and it made A Simple Favor ridiculously entertaining.

Kendrick is good fun, but Lively is the whole F'n show, elevating the film above its flaws. Reminiscent of Hitchcock-era twisty-turny drama, nowhere near as well-shot, of course, but certainly with a better respect for its female cast.

A good time.
