Review of The Wicker Man (1973) by nezzkobdamned: 👍 8.7/10

While I've watched The Wicker Man before (that final scene is fittingly burned into my memory), it was so very long ago.

I love how the film gets more and more fucked up as it steadily progresses towards the grim finale, whilst Christopher Lee's Summerisle calmly insists all is right with the world. It really drives home the outsider feeling our uptight moral compass of a protagonist is experiencing.
