Messy Killing Spree

Review of Killer High (2018) by nezzkobdamned: 👍 5.1/10

The story structure is all over the place; the writing is often painful and cliché to a ridiculous degree; the music choice seems like an afterthought (a reunion of a class of 2008 features predominantly 80s-style synth) and some of the FX work really takes away from the overall product with its cheapness.

Yet Killer High still has plenty of moments. A fun killer warthog design, some delightfully silly deaths, some pretty good gags (the mute teacher writing exposition on a mini-whiteboard was the best joke in the whole thing), and some good barbs about school life.

As messy as the aftermath of the warthogs' killing spree, there's entertainment in the chaos.
