Solid Action

Review of Triple Frontier (2019) by nezzkobdamned: 👍 6.9/10

The most surprising thing about Triple Frontier is how quickly they get to the central heist, and then the second half of the movie swerves into a new direction as the escape with the money becomes a gruelling slog for the men.

Wasn't sure that it would work, but after a bit of bloat in the third quarter of the film, it ramps back up and ends pretty much how it should at that point.

A bit overlong, often a bit formulaic in its first half, but Triple Frontier is captivating thanks to its slightly unorthodox structure and solid gunfights.
