Review of Made In America (1993) by billiamthenerd: 👎 5.0/10

This was cute but it moves a little too fast. I don't think the movie needed to be longer, I just think it needed to be tightened up a bit. No hate to Jennifer Tilly but her character wasn't needed in this and her side story just took away from the rest of the film. Also Zora (Nia Long) and Diego's (Rawley Valverde) story wasn't needed either as it felt truly pointless. Take those two stories out and focus more on Sarah (Whoopi Goldberg), Hal (Ted Danson), and Zora.

Like I said previously, this was cute but I do think it's forgettable. I think I've seen this before as a few scenes were very familiar but I don't know if I've actually seen it or if I just caught it in passing on TV in the 90s. Watch this if you want something easy. Whoopi Goldberg and Ten Danson are legends for a reason and Nia Long is very likable and relatable.
