Painfully Boring

Konstantin Bronzit must have some really bad dirt on a good portion of the academy members. Either that or there was absolutely no other animated shorts this year to fill the fifth spot. Those are the only reasons I could see as any excuse for this being nominated for an Academy Award.

The problem is, it's boring. Some view this is misogynistic and very anti-feminist on how it portrays women and you know what? They're right.

But Billiam, some of you may be saying. Can't you just enjoy this as a fun short? Look, I'm all for enjoyability and believe in some cases it can help me forgive a bad movie, but this isn't even fun. It's just boring.

I've never had much faith in the voting body of the Academy, but two things this year will make me lose even more faith. If Sinners gets swept by One Battle After Another and if this wins best animated short.
